The Department of Health Policy and Administration is one of the oldest and most respected programs in health administration in the U.S. Currently ranked #3 by U.S. News and World Report and #1 by Modern Healthcare, the department is part of the highly regarded School of Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The department offers degrees at three levels: baccalaureate, masters, and doctorate. In addition, its master’s and doctorate programs offer both residential and executive programs leading to MHA (Master of Healthcare Administration), MPH (Master of Public Health) and MSPH (Master of Science in Public Health) degrees. The Executive MHA, Executive MPH and DrPH programs are offered primarily online and are designed for working healthcare and public health professionals.
